The process begins with learning about each pet’s unique personality. I am an animal lover and am thrilled to read all about your furry friend.

Using the information you provide and the photo or photo’s provided I will be able to capture their individuality.

When choosing a photo for me to work from please choose one or several that you think really sum them up or have expressions you like.

PHOTO GUIDELINES

0 1.   PLEASE UPLOAD at least one detailed, clear and close-up photo that shows your pet’s personality.

0 2.   PHOTOS MUST be in focus.

0 3.   HIGH-RESOLUTION photographs are preferred (at least 300 dpi).

0 4.   PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that the portrait will be a reflection of the photo you provide: I do not create or modify poses, nor do I remove scarves, sweaters or other objects. Nor can I change the color of any props, toys, or clothing

0 5.   CAPTURING THE DETAIL in your fur-baby’s eyes and the nose is crucial; your photograph must show the eyes clearly with accurate color. Please make sure that the photograph represents the accurate color of your pet’s fur. (I love Instagram as much as you, but filters are not your friend here!)

0 6.   IMAGES WITH bright colors and good light will result in the best portraits.

0 7.   IT IS BEST to take photos outside in natural light; however, be careful not to take photos with the sun behind you, as it will cause shadows.

0 8.   IF YOU CANNOT take your pet’s photo outside, the next best option is an area with lots of available light so you do not have to use a flash.

To have the pets in the same painting – second pet, please add 15% to the price, third pet, please add a total of 25%.

DO I GET TO SEE A PREVIEW OF MY PET PORTRAIT BEFORE IT IS SENT?

Yes, you will be emailed a digital photo of the finished painting to make sure you are entirely happy with your dog portrait.
